Connect Strava — bring your history with you

Your running history is how Cadeo knows what you can do. Weekly mileage gets sized from what you've actually been running, training paces anchor to real recent efforts, and your long-run baseline comes from long runs you've already done — not from a questionnaire. Without history, the plan starts cautious from zero and spends weeks re-earning what you've already proven.

If your past runs live on Strava, three taps bring them in.

    Three taps

Cadeo → Profile → Data → Connect Strava → Resync

    1. 1

Open Cadeo → Profile → Data

The Data icon sits top-right on the Profile tab — it's the home for everything about your connections and syncing.

    2. 2

      Tap Connect Strava

Cadeo hands off to the Strava app (or Strava's site) to authorize, then brings you straight back. Cadeo asks to read your activities — it never posts anything to Strava.

    3. 3

      Tap Resync

Your recent months of running import in one pass. New runs keep arriving on their own after that.

What Strava brings — and what it can't

    • Brings: your running history — distances, times, paces — so plan sizing, pace anchors, and your long-run baseline start from your real training, plus new runs as they land.
    • Can't bring: overnight heart rate, HRV, or sleep. Recovery reads those from Apple Health only — that's a watch-to-Health pipe, not a Strava one. Garmin runner? Turn on Garmin's Apple Health sync for that half.
    • Probably don't need it: if you record runs with an Apple Watch, your history is already in Apple Health — Cadeo reads it directly and Strava adds little.
    • Read-only, one direction: Cadeo never posts to Strava, never edits your activities, and disconnecting (same Data screen) stops the flow instantly.
